Traktor Pro 2 Deck B No Sound

””””TRAKTOR PRO 2. Audio-related settings. Deck A/B supports Track Deck and Deck C/D supports Mix Deck in this settings file. Other settings are not recommended. TRAKTOR PRO 2 is a product of Native Instruments. Pioneer is not in the position of answering any inquiries on the. Also, if i would select Pioneer CDJ/XDJ Audio Device on Traktor Settings, I am able to select Output 1,2 for Deck A and Deck B, but I am getting sound on both channels while playing only one track on one deck. Also, if i would change the External Output Settings so that I can have Output 1,2 on Deck A and Output 3,4 on Deck B, I am not having.

let me preface by saying I've been suing Pro for over a month now with no issues whatsoever. i've played a couple gigs with it and I use it nonstop in my room. BUT tonight, suddenly, while a track was on Deck B and I'm trying to cue up Deck A, but there was no sound signal. Normally this is because I've left the filter on, but it was off. Tried loading another track..Nothing. Tried another track..Nothing. Started sweating profusely as I lost the chance to drop one of my most precise transitions..Still Nothing. And then, it was suddenly back. Thankfully I didn't have to restart the program or the comp.
This happened twice during my 2 hour set.
anyone have an experience with this. I'm using an echo audiofire2, faderfox dj2, akai mpd24, and a more than powerful macbook. I've never had this happen before. I've been kind of dismissive of all the Pro backlash, but this has me seriously considering going back to 3.3 til this gets sorted out.

Traktor Pro 2 Deck B No Sound Effect

  • I have traktor pro 2 installed and my hercules e2 controller works fine with it, all controls are fine but no sounds played through traktor play.
Under Audio setup i have the following settings:
    Audio device: ASIO4ALL v2
    Sample rate: 24000Hz
    Latency: 512

Then under the ‘Built in soundcard’ bit i have ASIO4ALL selected again. The only other choice being something called” Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode))”

I have no idea what to do with input & output routing, but have had no luck with just guessing. could really use some help people. if you need any more info, let me know. thanks

Download free nexus vst plugins. On Audio Setup, select “ASIO4ALL” for audio device. Then, on Output Routing, select “Internal” for mixing mode, on Out Master select 1: Front Left, then 2: Front Right. Output Monitor should be 3: Back Left, then 4: Back Right.

So I’ve checked your controller the Hercules E2, and learned that it doesn’t have a built-in soundcard. And, the computer that you are connecting to is using a Digital-Out interface, which means your ordinary 3.5mm will not work with it. You will need a S/PDIF is a digital audio interconnect to RCA cable to be able to connect it to an external mixer or speakers.

Try using Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode)) as your audio setup and use “internal” in your output routing select “anything” that is available on your drop down list and see if any sound is produced in your computer.

If it still doesn’t work, then your computer’s soundcard doesn’t support external audio routing, you may need to buy a DJ soundcard like one of these: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2010/11/6-budget-dj-sound-cards/

3D 5.1 soundcards will work as long as you have two separate outputs. But, if you want to connect it to high-powered mixers and speakers, then I recommend buying a DJ soundcard from numark or native instruments. That way there would be no distortion if you pump up the volume.
